1099k for 2024
NEW IRS rules for 2024 1099k are their plans of $ 5000 reporting. But no mention about transactions as there was in the past. I know they may change rules at last minute but just curious. those of us that sell a lot of small transactions are wondering .. thanks

Nobody can answer your question at the moment with regards to what the Fed's may do or even the individual states for that matter. Everything is a TBD at the moment and Congress has become a bit more lethargic than usual. Nothing may be known for sure until late in 2024.

·2 years agoThat $5000 is just proposed, it's not a "new rule" yet. In the IRS announcement about it, they did not mention any number of transactions so you should assume that it is just one.
