·11 months agoI notice the Chicago area has no events listed. The only one I found in Illinois at all was in East Alton, which is basically downstate in the St. Louis (MO) area on the other side of the Mississippi.

·11 months agoI looked for Michigan events as well in case the driving distance might not be too bad (we used to have a family cottage in Union Pier, MI) but the only Michigan event is in some place with the wonderful name of Temperance, MI (I'm guessing there are not a lot of local bars there ðŸ˜), but that turns out to be south of Detroit. Nothing for Wisconsin at all.
I recognize that these are basically local user groups who volunteered to hold an event, but you'd think that eBay themselves might have splurged for their own get-togethers in some of the big cities. Maybe they're having to cut back on expenses like everyone else these days.

OP11 months agoI'm not sure I understand, but I would defer to the old adage 'If you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all.'
Some of us are very excited about these parties and have put a lot of heart and soul into preparations!
