Just popping in with a reminder that tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct 22) is our next RVA Seller Circle Listing Day — a relaxed 4-hour coworking session where sellers from anywhere can hop in, list, organize, or just hang out quietly and get things done.
🕗 8 AM – 12 PM ET
🎧 Cameras and mics optional — no pressure, just progress.
✨ New sellers and seasoned pros are all welcome!

·10 months agoInstead of "Playboy After Dark" (funky old TV show), you can try an "eBay After Dark" lol.
But I actually signed on to say that the "circles" motif is actually years old - we used to have web circles or web rings back in the day (early 2000s) of sellers who did similar things. The one I belonged to did apparel upcycling - the 'web rings' was a bit more popular than circles, but I recall both being used. Just a bit of lore.

I'd love to join you, but I'm at work from 8am until 4pm Eastern Time (which kind of means whatever time zone you're working from won't work for me).
Perhaps these should be scheduled in the evening or on the weekend? Those of us who work during the day can join you. I think I might be very motivated to list stuff if I had company.

We’ve been testing different times to see what works best for everyone, and I’m really glad you mentioned evenings/weekends — that’s actually something a few folks have asked about too. 💡
I might try hosting a weekend or evening “After Hours Listing Party†soon so sellers who can’t join during the day can still hang out, chat, and get things listed together. I’ll definitely tag you when I post it so you can join in if it works for your schedule! 💕
It’s always more fun (and motivating!) to list with company — I love that you said that. 😄

·10 months agoI travel periodically, so if I'm home I'll join you for any weekend or evening thing (although if you're doing it on Pacific time that might get a bit late... I'm in Eastern Time).

OP10 months agoI'm in Richmond, Virginia (east coast). Our monthly meetings are the second Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to 8pm EDT. If you happen to join the circle, I can give you access to the shared google drive that has all past meetings and listing days or if you don't want to join, just message me on the RVA seller circle page.
The discussion board is about halfway down the page.

·10 months ago@jerseyboymusic RVA stands for Richmond VA where the group of sellers is based. Because their meetings are both in Real Life and Virtual (online), anyone can participate, not just people willing to drive to Richmond.
Such Groups have recently been renamed "Circles" by ebay because, well, I guess because ebay seems to feel a need to change things every so often.
Tomorrow's event is basically exactly what you said: a listing party. Or do whatever you want....prep shipping, take listing photos, etc. Other members are available on video or in the chat, and if you want to chat, you can, and if you mostly just want to do whatever work you are working on, you can do that.
The actual meetings sometimes include guest speakers from ebay who will talk about various topics and answer questions.

OP10 months agoRVA Listing Day is part of our Richmond, Virginia eBay Seller Circle, which is one of eBay’s official community-led seller groups. We meet regularly (both in-person and virtually) to learn, share, and motivate each other as we work on our eBay businesses.
The “Listing Day†part is like a co-working session for sellers — we all hop online, list items, chat, answer questions, and help each other stay productive. It’s relaxed, supportive, and totally free to join in!
The “Winter Seller Check-In†mention was just a sneak peek at eBay’s official quarterly seller event, happening tomorrow — a great chance to hear updates straight from eBay teams and fellow sellers. â„ï¸
