I never deal with best offers. Yesterday I had a buyer who started with a message asking me for a cheaper price. I just ignored it, because you know. Sometimes I actually don’t block them since some aren’t serious about wanting a cheaper price and end up buying anyway.
Today he sends me another message asking to confirm if the item is for an adult or child because of its price. The listing is clear that it’s an adult item but I didn’t get a chance to reply before the buyer sent me two more messages since they were all sent today.
The two messages are “How is the brim? Is it sturdy? Because I need it to be sturdy.†And his final message was the title of this post. I checked his account and see a plethora of negatives left to sellers. I think I’ll block now.

·11 months agoYa' did good - wonder if eBay has a recognition bumper sticker for your recent decision. that reads something like "Blocker of The Month"

Your description of the buyer's messages gives me a headache.
Please block a future pita of a buyer instead of telling us about it.

·11 months agoI think too many posters on these threads "have a hair trigger on blocking buyers." But the reason this OP gives doesn't fall into that group at all IMHO.

·11 months agoActually, there is no harm in the OP telling us about. Sometimes we just need to rant a little or to seek a little commiseration from the people in the trenches who've experienced the same thing.
Sounds like you made the right choice.
