What is this "Boost" that appears next to my listings and how can I get rid of it?
When creating a new listing and submitting it, the listing then shows up with the"Boost" symbol next to it. Something I don't remember requesting so how can i remove it from my listings?

·4 months agoWow I didn't even know there's a "Seller Tools" section here in the boards. Seems a bit redundant with the "Selling" section as I'm sure quite a lot of threads in the Selling section mention something that can be considered a "tool".

Fortunately, only sellers see this one.
Ebay adds eyesores with regularity, so do many sellers. myself included.

·4 months agoBy paying ebay more money in the form of promoting your listing to a high enough percentage so they'll stop bothering you.
Look at it as a "I'm not going to go away unless you gimme some money" ploy.

·4 months agoHi, Agreed with all. This is eBay trying to lure you into raising the percentage on your promoted listings. It is sort of an eye 'sore but easy to ignore.

·4 months agoUBlockOrigin and/or Stylus. Boost is the funniest one by far. It's the only "promote" spam I haven't gotten rid of.

·4 months agoIt's just a ploy by ebay to try and get you to "promote" your listings. In that way you MAY get more visibility but it costs more.
There is no way to get rid of it. You just have to ignore it.

Ignore it if you're not interested.
