Traffic bar chart retroactively changes
Am I misunderstanding the bar-chart, or is it just...completely inaccurate and misrepresentative?
The traffic numbers keep changing. I don't mean that one day I get 10K impressions, and the next I get 2K. That could be explained by variance or algorithm or whatever. I mean that, on July 4, it showed that I got 17K impressions. On July 5 it showed 16K impressions. On July 6 and 7 it showed 15K. Now, those numbers are very unusually high. My normal impressions are much lower, around 3 - 4K. (Which is fine, my click-through and sales conversion are lovely.)
Today... when I look at the bar chart... it's showing that on July 4, 5, and 6, my impressions are 3 - 4K. But July 7 is still 15K. This was a *retroactive change* of those numbers. They *were* 15-17K. Now they're 3-4K. WTH? And this isn't the first time this has happened.
It wouldn't mater, except I actually *did* make more sales than usual those days. So I was trying to figure out what I did differently to give so many more impressions. Did I post listings at a specific time? Is it because it was a holiday weekend? Was it the number of listings I posted? What did I do to affect the algorithm? But...if my impressions *weren't* out of the ordinary...then WTH?
