Possible Bug: “Your Cost” Missing from Net Order Earnings
I think there may be a glitch with eBay’s “Your Cost” tracking/reporting.
I entered “Your Cost” on an active listing before it sold. When I received an offer, eBay correctly displayed the offer amount, my asking price, and my cost. However, after I accepted the offer and the sale was completed, that cost information no longer appears on the order detail page or in Payments > Reports > Earnings.
The result is that the Earnings Report is not subtracting my entered cost from the sale, so the Net Order Earnings number is not accurate.
Has anyone else run into this? I’m trying to figure out whether this is a known issue, a reporting delay, or a bug with how eBay carries “Your Cost” data over after a sale.
