Photo's uploading incorrectly from Mac
Every other picture I upload from my computer comes out stretched and distorted (See picture).
Any ideas on what is wrong?

·3 years agoWhat format are your photos? From what camera device?
This is what I would expect to see when the stored dimensions do not match the data, so that each row of raster dots shifts over a few bits, creating a skew.
What do the photos look like on your computer?

OP3 years agoHi, I appreciate the help.
I take the photo's on my iPhone XR, and transfer them to a MacBook Pro through Air drop to then upload to eBay.
The photo's are .HEIC.
They look completely normal on my laptop and on the phone, it also only happens every 2-3 photo's, about 70% are fine and every other listing I get one that is messed up.

How large are the photos? MP and dimensions? Has that changed?
eBay is now supposed to support HEIC on the iPhone app. Not sure about the desktop uploader or whether the Apple browser converts the format on the uploader canvas (the drag/drop area that renders the image and prepares it for transfer to eBay).
