on the 1099 eBay sends is the sales tax collected in the gross amount shown.
When eBay sends a 1099 with total sales is the sales tax collected included in that number. If so I need to get that number for my tax person ( yes I had to file an extension ).
If a person buys something for $100 and they pay $107, does the total on the 1099 reflect the $100 or $107.
Thanks for your help. This forum is one of the best.

·1 year agoNo, seller doesn't receive the sale tax so it's not included on a 1099K.

·1 year ago$100.00 in your example
Sales Tax is NOT represented on the 1099-K...
Now, if a person buys an item for $100.00 and it costs $20.00 to ship and $8.00 Sales Tax the total $120 is represented (but still not the 8.00 Sales Tax)
There are other funds included on the 1099 as well...(refunds for example)
