item not as described
We never got an email from the buyer that there was an issue with the order. They also did not provide any evidence or return the items that were not as described. eBay customers can now just file an item that is not as described, provide no evidence and then keep the item? That seem like a big loophole for fraud. I can't get a hold on the chat to talk to an agent about this.

·5 months agoBuyers can file a claim for item not as described...and you either accept the return or do nothing.
Do nothing...eBay refunds buyer and lets buyer keep the item.

They only get to keep the items if you fail to accept the return and provide a shipping label and Ebay has to step in.
Buyer doesn't have to prove anything or contact the seller, they just use the MBG.

·5 months agoOnce a buyer files a Not As Described case you have a couple choices.
You can approve the return and refund once you receive the item back. You will pay return shipping.
You can just refund and allow the buyer to keep the item and $
Or you can do nothing, eBay will then step in and allow the buyer to keep the item, the $ and give you a seller defect.
There is no need to contact anyone about this.
The buyer in no way has to supply evidence or contact you before -
