Gaining insight to Ebay's use of new Price reduction feature
Hello, Folks!!
I would like to know if Ebay send notices, to watchers or others, when either the Seller changes an item's price puts it on sale, or when the new price update updates/changes the price? I am interested in this because I do
not want to spend effort on something that would be so much more beneficial if any of my sales 'actions' were further promoted automatically through Ebay.

·1 year agoFor those wondering, this feature is located in the "pricing" section of your listing. You can edit it on or off at any time.
Now, I have no idea if watchers get notifications when the price goes down. I'd like to assume so, but....

·1 year agoIts not a bad idea - I reduce my prices over time typically - but I do at my own rate.
I'd just prefer they go back to sendng a message to me when I win an auction.

OP1 year ago'New' Feature is the automatic price reduction. It lets you set the amount of reduction, time between reductions, and the minimum amount the price will ever go. It took Ebay some time after a friend saw their new reduction feature on the listing page before I saw mine, but it finally was there for me to use how I see fit. The ony improvement I might suggest Ebay uses is a note to anyone watching the item to get a message any time the price is reduced. Why havn't they done this yet???
