eBay Seller Capital Application Has Been Down for Over a Week
Good evening eBay community,
I recently took a hiatus from my small business for a couple years and just hit the ground running full time again at the start of 2026.
At the beginning of February, I was sent a pre-qualified offer for eBay Seller Capital. I took some time mulling over whether it’d be beneficial and when I went to submit my application, I hit a basic error of “an error has occurred, please refresh” or something along those lines.
I tried the usual suspects of clearing cache, incognito, new browser, and both device types and nothing worked. It has now been over a week and I have not been able to complete my application let alone receive funding.
I contacted eBay on Monday (02/16) who stated it was a global issue and would be resolved in 24-48 hours, which I assumed wasn’t true because it had already been broken for 96+ hours at least before I reported it.
I called back today (02/19) and the agent was extremely unhelpful and said that sometimes it takes 72 even though they said 48 and that eBay would most certainly email me when it was resolved. I also know this is not true, as they have never emailed me when an issue was resolved that I’ve called or chatted about.
How do I get actual information about the issue, when it will be fixed, and how to gain access to the capital I’ve already been offered?

Were you able to find a solution to this issue? The same thing is happening to me. The application status shows "Your application is in progress." However when I try to continue the application process, I get an error that the page failed to load. I don't remember starting the application, but now I can't even get to it.
