What will happen is you will be charged daily for clicks, NOT SALES, on your listings. Very costly to sellers IMO.

·1 year agoI tried it a few days ago and I input a maximum of $50 per day for "clicks" on my items - though Ebay recommended well over $100 per day - and it only took about an hour and a half for the "clicks" to reach 164 and Ebay showed that they would charge me $85 for those "clicks" on my items and I hadn't sold ONE item through the marketing effort!!! Over just ONE DAY this would have worked out to almost $700 of fees that I would have to pay Ebay - with them giving me the $100 back in a few days - and who knows if I would have made even ONE sale in that time???? I deleted/cancelled the campaign and I am waiting for Ebay to REFUND ME BACK THE $85 THAT THEY CHARGED ME WITHIN AN HOUR OR TWO OF THE CANCELLATION!!! THIS IS A VERY SCARY OFFER AND IT APPEARS THAT IT WILL WORK FOR EBAY AND EBAY ALONE NOT SELLERS!!!!

·1 year agoAND I MADE A MATH MISTAKE AND, IF THINGS KEPT GOING THE WAY THEY WERE FOR THE FIRST HOUR AND A HALF, I WOULD HAVE BEEN CHARGED WELL OVER $1500 NOT $780 BY EBAY!!!!

That promotion campaign charges for clicks, NOT SALES, on your items. There's no guarantee of sales when using pay per click Promotions.

·1 year agoThanks but I am VERY aware that you pay for clicks and I said that in my reply. I am saying that the problem is Ebay would charge me $85 and I didn't have even ONE sale for that $85 so what amount would a seller have to reach before they MIGHT sell even ONE item through this marketing program??? And charging an average of over $.50 for EACH click seems VERY high for a CHANCE that you might sell something. I will stick with the normal marketing programs that I had been using to this point. Of course Ebay shows that 70% of my sales have allegedly been produced through the promotional program so I wonder how I EVER manage to sell an item without having to pay Ebay EXTRA marketing fees??? And, of course, as sellers we have NO way to investigate and see for ourselves if we would agree with Ebay as to how many of our sales were produced with and without the extra promotional program.
