Category needed
If this subject has already been introduced in eBay Community then this message is a vote to include a Gender Neutral or Nonbinary category under "Clothing - Clothing, Shoes and Accessories". Clothing doesn't have sex chromosomes. Having a Gender Neutral or Nonbinary category is very helpful when selling genderless items.
Thank you, Juleloch

·9 months ago"Add'l Item Specifics" have the following choices within "Department" - Men, Unisex Adults, Unisex Kids, Women. And there's no requirement that you choose any of them or use anything at all for that matter. Put your preferred descriptor in the main body of the description and please stop trying to politicize eBay, we've had enough already.

OP9 months agoI was trying to list some Nike sandals and I had to choose "men " or " women" and it stumped me. So I chose women, then I thought I should also list it under men. But, then I gave up. I was thinking gender neutral would make it easier.

·9 months agoAnd how were you going to reconcile that mens shoe sizes and women's shoe sizes are not the same?

·9 months agoClothing (at least my shirts) seem to already be gender neutral. Every woman I've ever lived with commandeered at least one of my shirts to wear at night and/or to sleep in as a nightshirt.
People that identify as gender neutral have already figured sizing etc. out so why create a different category?
I can see it now "One size fits all percieved sexual identies".......................

·9 months agoAssuming one can in some way identify what clothing fits the category, practical questions exist . Like how is it sized.
In the absence of some form of industry recognized standards, such an effort would be premature,
The used clothing business is not the place to pioneer a new new market category and many people identify Ebay with used clothing or past season surplus clothing.
