Can I revert to previous layout on (IOS) app?
Hello all.
I noticed changes to uploading photos today. The new format is not user friendly, and is way more time consuming, with the “make main photoâ€, “edit etc.
I would like to revert to the previous version on the app only (iOS). How can I revert to a prior APP version so I can upload photos the way I used to just a week ago? Thanks.

·2 years agoI am in agreement, the photos section in the mobile ebay app was great before. It seems they have implemented fancy new non-user friendly features, that slow listing down in a big way. My photos are uploading out of order now, and moving the photo order around is extremely hard to do. If fact it wont even let me move my last 4 rows of photos. Also, if you swipe your thumb down in the photos section, it will close the photos pane without saving the order in which I just pulled my hair out to accomplish, minus the last 4 rows. I take a lot of pictures, I know alot of people only take a handful, this wont affect those sellers as much. Very frustrating, it literally has stopped me in my tracks today. Hopefully they go back to the previous photo setup soon.

OP2 years agoWhen I say I 100% understand! I don’t get why they changed it. When I contacted them about it, they basically said “get over it! And it’s here to stay.†But I found a work around. The children’s items category allows you to post (in the app) like the older version, which lets you seamlessly upload photos. So what I’ve been doing is:
1. Click “listâ€
2. create the post “titleâ€
3. change “category†to anything Kids/Children
4. Choose “conditionâ€
5. Skip the “items specific†section
6. I paste my general rules, caveats, etc in “descriptionâ€
7. Choose “pricing†and “shippingâ€
8. Choose “preferencesâ€
9. “Upload photos†(seamlessly)
10. Switch the “category†to its true category (adult clothes, shoes, etc)
11. THEN complete the “item specific†section.
It has helped me sooo much! Because it’s the old version. Make sure you don’t complete the “item specific†section if you’re going to change the “category†from Kids/children to another “categoryâ€, because it will totally erase every “item specific†you chose.
