Bulk Discounting Specific Items
Hello,
I am requesting assistance with discounting older inventory in our system.
I currently have approximately 397 inventory items that are about one year old, and I would like to apply a discount to all of these items. I am hoping to avoid discounting each item individually and am looking for a bulk or automated option to apply the discount efficiently.
Ideally, the discount would be applied based on inventory age, and I am open to either a percentage-based discount or a fixed amount reduction, depending on what the system supports.
Please let me know the best method to bulk-discount inventory by age, or if there is a tool, pricing rule, or import/export process available that would allow me to accomplish this.

·9 months agoNo way to do it automatically by age, you would have to add each item to the discount/sale.

·9 months agoYou can do it by manually adding items, and in the list of items to add, there is a filter for the number of days it has been listed. We use that every month.

Top right, choose which type (Sale Event would be best)
Follow prompts on left (amount, dates etc._)
Follow prompts on right (list items, or entire category etc.). You can 'manually' list, then click top box and it will checkmark all on a page (set page to 200); and do 2nd page, then 'done'.
