Does the Trading API GetItemTransaction call work to view historical product prices?

Hello, can someone help me with a question? I would like to know if it is possible to use the GetItemTransaction call of the Trading API to create a script that allows me to display the price history of a particular product. I've been reading the documentation but I'm not clear how to start.

Any help?

The Trading API can only access the account of the buyer or seller for whom a token has been issued. Thus, with the buyer's/seller's permission, that particular buyer's/seller's historical data can be retrieved within a limited timeframe (a 30-day bracket that is no more than 90 days old), so its usefulness may be limited.

If you are looking for general product pricing suggestions, the type of historical pricing information that Terapeak provides can only be retrieved (with special permission) from the Marketplace Insights API.
