💡 New eBay Combined Shipping Prompt - Helpful or Halfway There?
Summary: Danielle Craun, Danielle Craun, shared an observation about a new eBay feature that flags when a buyer has multiple orders and suggests sellers combine shipments. While the feature makes it easier to notice such orders, the pathway to actually combine the shipments is not entirely seamless, as users still need to manually select both orders and navigate through various steps. Danielle appreciates the increased visibility but notes there's room for improvement in streamlining the process. She invites other sellers to share their experiences with this prompt and how they handle combining orders for multiple item purchases.
I noticed something new this evening while shipping.
eBay is now flagging when a buyer has multiple orders and suggesting that sellers combine shipments.
That's great news because it's much easier to spot than before.
The funny part?
The prompts tell me the buyer has multiple orders... but clicking them doesn't actually take me to the combine-shipping screen. 😅
I still had to:
• Select both orders
• Choose Shipping → Get Shipping Labels
• Then use "Combine orders per buyer"
So eBay definitely made the feature more visible, but maybe not quite as streamlined as it could be.
Have you started seeing this prompt yet?
And for newer sellers:
Do you regularly combine orders when buyers purchase multiple items?
I'd love to hear how others are handling it.

·4 months agoI haven't seen the new prompt yet but I will do combined shipping whenever possible. Ebay always takes a while to get there updates straight.
