Wrong item sent to me
I ordered a 6-pack of brunette shampoo and the package delivered was a heartworm pill from a vet pharmacy with someone else’s name on it!!? The bag was wrinkled like the label may have gotten stuck to it rather than intentionally put on it. Is this the seller or the post office’s fault and where is my shampoo? I had checked out as a guest and can’t seem to be able to contact the seller. Why can’t I just talk with customer service on the phone??

·8 months agoIf you checked out as a guest, you should have also been emailed by ebay with details for the order. Within those emails should be a link to request a return. If for any reason you cant do the return, you can always try disputing the charge with your debit or credit card company.

You'll want to open a Return request and it's all automated. The seller will either send you a return shipping label or will issue a refund without requiring a return. If you have neither after 3 days, escalate the case to eBay. You'll be made whole.

OP8 months agoThanks. I seem to be unable to request a refund because I bought the item as a guest and even though I have the order #, the AI “can’t find†my order and even though I have since created an account, the purchase doesn’t show up there. Any recommendations?

Your new account is not where you'll find an order placed as a guest. You'll want to find your order confirmation email. There's a 'Find guest order detail' hot button that may be helpful. Did you tick that? 🤔
Afterthought... you may want to log out of your new account to use the 'Guest help'... not certain about that.

Try mashing up the heartworm pills with a little soapy water and see if it works as shampoo.
