Why is eBay's returns so long

If someone returned an item for Incorrect description or images they should not have 30 to return the item if THEY submitted the return. 1 week MAX especially if the seller has returns turned off

During Covid, ebay extended the amount of time buyers had to return items after a request was accepted. Since then, the extended return time has remained.

Are you saying that if a seller listed with bad description or photos, you want the return window shorter? If that is the case, then I want sellers who list with poor description and use bad photos to face stricter penalties for BBE

Part of choosing to sell on eBay means agreeing to the parameters that eBay requires of sellers to sell on the platform.

This return window is what eBay has decided will provide the best service to the buyer.

For a seller to receive the benefits of eBay's platform, which includes global reach, that seller must abide by eBay's policies (whether or not they agree with them).

I understand your frustration unfortunately that is Ebay's policy. I only have to deal with a few returns a year so its not that big of a deal.
