Which is best for initating refund?
I sold an item and it arrived to the buyer damaged. The buyer notified me in a message. Is it better for me to initiate refund or to have the buyer request it or does it not make a difference? From the sellers end there when I go through the seller's hub, there is no option for it arriving damaged so I don't know which one to choose, if it could go against me as a seller, or if it doesn't make a difference. The item does not need to be returned.

·10 months agoJust tell the buyer you will refund them the money in full and you as the seller initiate the refund.

·10 months agoIf you believe the buyer and don't care about refunding without getting back- then just use 'other' for the 'refund' reason.
Returns can hurt your metrics but I won't bother going into it; you can google and learn.
