There is no warranty on most items sold on eBay. Your covered to receive it in as described condition for 30 days from delivery. Any warranty would be handled by the company that made the item. However, unless purchased from a factory dealer, most wont honor the warranty as it's considered a second hand sale. Mots warranties don't transfer.
Yeah, so the item is advertised with the words "lifetime Warranty" in larger letters than the item description and it's not the sellers obligation to honor what he sells????????? Then why does ebay allow this to be advertised that way? There is no information on the manufacturer when it is delivered.
Mgfr's dont honor these warranties when the item is sold on Ebay, unless the seller is an authorized rep, Im sure your seller knew this.
eBay's buyer protections only extend up to 30 days after receiving an item, or from the last estimated delivery date. Many new well known brand named items sold on ebay are not covered by the Mfr.'s warranty unless the seller is an authorized dealer.
As far as Ebay 'allowing' this, how can they stop it with 1.5 billion listings? There is a report button on each listing, but even that wouldnt help with a warranty guarantee listing.Ebay depends on its buyers to monitor and report listing infractions.

If it's past 30 days since delivery, you need to deal with the manufacturer.
