·1 year agoGo somewhere else and buy a shipping label and send it to the buyer, then hope they use it to return the item.

"... I clicked the print return label customer said it didn't print I hit it again. said processing then the customer said it didn't print..."
Why are you "clicking" Print Return Label...the customer should be doing that....no?
Or am I confused?
If you are beyond this...do what @kensgiftshop suggested...
Go to pirateship or another online shipping platform, and buy a return label for your customer. How you get it to them is beyond me, since you can't send pdf through My Messages....maybe that email ebay creates for the buyer in your order details

·1 year agoWhen I need to send a label thru ebay messages, I print the label, then scan it and save it as a .jpg and then attach to an ebay message.
Ebay messages accepts .jpg and .png files and perhaps others.

OP1 year agoI clicked the top button that said do not refund the buyer until I receive my item back and clicked send return label. Kept saying processing went back the next day it said send a return label I'm like **bleep** I clicked it again. and it said processing. go back and cchecked it was still doing the circle processing asked for help again got a high claims agent he said the customer said the label didn't print again. It would not let me print another return label. He said reach out to the customer I said I tried the buyer blocked me. I said to him do not give him a refund until I receive my item he said he wouldn't and then we went to the page and he said if I click refund it will give an error message maybe I could get the page to let me generate another return label. I said ok i clicked it and a big red error came up across the top of the page. I was like yay but the list wouldn't drop down for me. He was like thats weird he said he would call the customer and explain what was happening since I did not have the funds Ebay did. But when I came back the next morning **bleep** ebay had returned the customers money and no option for me to print a return label and I have already paid 2 times for a return label that didn't work. I am going to contact a lawyer now

·1 year agoThere's something missing from what you described @affdeb2 . What was the reason for the return and did you provide a prepaid label?

·1 year agoHe should read the user agreement. He agreed that eBay would decide all disputes between members, including whether the item has to be returned.
When eBay finds in the buyer's favour eBay requires the seller to pay for the return postage. The seller is given the option to buy and send the buyer a prepaid return label if they want the item back. If they don't, eBay will enforce a refund without requiring the item to be returned. She also agreed to accept eBay's decision.
You do not have to return it. You can point out that you're doing her a favour by even offering to, but you expect her to pay for the postage - as he was required to by eBay. If she doesn't wish to, you can do what you want with it.
