Trouble with return and ebay help
I purchased a 7 foot fishing rod. Received a 4 foot 8 in long rod instead. Requested a return and refund because the seller no longer had the 7ft long rod. filled refund through ebay. A week later he offered me a partial refund and keep the incorrect rod. I thought about it and requested info on how to return the item for full refund. Never heard nothing back from seller. Received email from eBay today that refund has been closed. If I can not receive any help I will be done with ebay. My wife says she has never had a problem like this on amazon. I should start shopping there instead. Any advice?

·2 years agoA fishing rod "can be" in two parts...as a son of a father who fishes. One part connects to the other as most fishermen would say. I assume it is a new type of rod and that explains it.
Refunds are for 30 days and not 31 days...so don't know what happened here.
And "requested a return and refund because the seller no longer had it".....how do you return something you don't have? I am lost for what actually happened.

·2 years agoSounds like you waited to long and the case timed out and closed.
You could have returned to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in for a refund.
If you paid through Pay Pal, open a case with them or contact your payment source.
