Seller won't refund
Seller won't refund
The seller said it was a new product, but when I received it, it turned out to be an old, used product.
I put a return label on the box and returned it, but I didn't get my money back. ($202.09)

·2 years agoDon't know how to be gentle about this -- you handled this wrong. You had 30 days to open an item not as described case with eBay. The seller would have been required to send you a prepaid return label and to refund in full when he received the item back. The seller currently has both the item and your money and is likely to be able to keep both.

·2 years agoNever take returns into your own hands, you needed to open a not as described case where the seller pays for the return shipping. If you didn't do that did you contact the seller at all? If you open a case you don't have to contact the seller.
If you did just send it back, you'll have to wait until it says the item was delivered to do anything further. If you have any time left, most of the time you get up to 30 days, you may be able to open a case after the fact and upload the tracking number. If your return window has expired; there is nothing can be done on eBay. If you used PayPal you'll have to contact them.

·2 years agoIf you did open a Return request, the seller has 3 days (I think) to issue the refund after the item is returned to them. You'll (eventually) have the option to ask eBay to step in and force the refund... keep an eye on the case.
If you didn't open a Return request, you might have shot yourself in the foot. What has played out so far?

·2 years agoDid you open a INAD return? There are protections for buyers but you must follow the rules. Hopefully you did.
