Yes, I sold a phone that was in perfect condition, the buyer reached out to eBay to say that the phone was faulty and sent a picture that the phone was returned to me, I never received the phone. I only realized the same amount was debited from my account after 2 months of selling that item. How do I contact ebay to show me the tracking information of the phone to prove it was returned? Thank you.

I've never heard of that ^^^ happening. 🤔
Did your buyer open a Return request in the first place? How did your buyer return the phone... using a label from the eBay Return (?), or by purchasing another label? If the former, you should have a copy of tracking to keep up with it. If the latter, do you have a copy of said tracking number at all to keep up with it? Sorry... so confusing that I'm trying to sort out your issue.

Sounds like a Credit Card Charge Back since ebay does NOT debit 'after 2 months'. Ebay would not have any info on 'if the buyer shipped it back or not. You would have recieved notice that a chargeback was occurring and you could fight it etc. back then.

You do not need to speak to anybody at eBay. What was the last delivery date shown to you when you bought the item? Was it shipped? If so, what does the tracking information say?

·8 months agoTo receive a return you either gave a return eBay label or buyer had item returned using tracking...that is where the refund comes in.
Buyer gets 30 days to return an item to you with tracking....not more than 30 days.
Tracking needs to be uploaded in the time period...not whenever.
After the time frame you are unfortunately out of luck.
No customer service rep(s) can help.
If you did nothing to the eBay open claim of a return...you yourself...buyer keeps item and still gets the refund.

Please explain what happened.
Did you sell a phone and issue a refund before the buyer returned it?
