seller stole from me
a ebay seller stole from me i paid for a new heater with attachments it never arrived . He swindled me and sent a old dented up and smashed old heater with no attackments it was full of old diesel i stopped his payment 3 weeks ago thru paypal i then stopped the dispute with paypal over 2 weeks ago they sent ebay 2 emails about that,I have been trying to return this and ebays site keeps on saying there is a open dispute which there isnt, the order no is 04-11347-24605 please open this on my account so i can return this DONT LET THIS THIEF GET AWAY WITH THIS I HAVE A PERFECT SCORE AND DO ALL BUSINESS THRU EBAY BUT MY PATIENCE IS WEARING THRU ,

Buyers can only receive positive feedback. All buyers are “100%â€. It means nothing.
On the other hand, the feedback buyers leave for sellers says so much. For some buyers it’s almost deafening. I needed earplugs.

You do realize sellers and buyers can read all feedbacks.

·2 years agoYou should have opened a not as described case on eBay within the timeframe allowed, if you had done that the seller would have had no choice but to pay for return shipping and refund after getting the item back. Their only other option would have been allowing you to keep the used heater and refunding in full, but you went to PayPal first which you should never do.
If a seller accuses you of returning a damaged item and they are a top rated seller who qualifies for the seller protection of being able to deduct up to 50% off the refund for items returned damaged; you would be able to appeal with eBay if they aren't telling the truth.
As it stands since you stopped the PayPal dispute and you can't open one with eBay now, you may want to try a chargeback with your credit card if possible.

ebay has a solid money back guarantee for buyers...
once you jumped the gun and did not follow the proper channels to return an item not as described and went to the payment source (in this case, paypal) you forfeited the ebay MBG
ebay can no longer intervene because of your actions....
you need to let you dispute run its course through paypal, and hopefully, get a proper resolution
