If your seller does not make this right somehow, you have 30 days from the delivery date to file a return case. Don't let the 30 days lapse nor allow the seller to stall you past the 30 days.
Go to your eBay Purchase History and open a return case. Find the item in your Purchase History and press the big, blue 'Return this item' button. Select "Wrong Item Sent" as the reason for the return.
If it requires you to upload a photo to the return case you will need to do that.
Seller will be required to provide a prepaid shipping label IF they want the item back before refunding.
When the return tracking shows delivered back to the seller, the seller will have 2 days to inspect and refund your purchase. If that does not happen there will be an "Ask eBay to Step In", option for you to click on. EBay will refund your money.
If seller does not send a return label within 3 days and the "Ask eBay To Step In" option is not available, you may have to contact eBay. If you need help, come back here with details and dates of what has transpired. Or just contact eBay thru Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness/ Using the instant messaging.
Under NO circumstances do you close the return before getting your refund, REGARDLESS of what the seller might tell you.
Come back here with any or all questions you might have throughout this process.
Sellers do mix up packages and items. Click the contact the seller button and let them know what happened and what you received. If they won't help, click the item not as described button and file a case. However, you should give them time to make it right before filing a case. The case must be filed in 30 days from delivery of the item. So, don't wait until the last day to file if a case is needed.
Make sure that item is from the same seller and you are mistaking it for a different seller you may have bought from.
After that and confirming your seller sent you the wrong item, message the seller and tell them your issue. Provide a photo if possible to make things faster for the seller to help fix the problem for you.
