Seller sent counterfeit items: sealed trading cards had wrong kind of cards in pack.
I bought four sealed packs (each pack is a box with a single sealed pack inside). Upon opening the first one, the cards inside were not only not sealed in a pack, there were worthless cards from another product inside.
It may be too late for a refund as I bought another REAL pack from another seller to take side by side pictures of, but I want to get this seller some consequences. I did this because originally I opened a case as Item Not Described but eBay's AI automatically closed the case.

If you received an item that is not as described, and you actually opened an item not as described case within 30 days of receiving your item, there is almost no reason why eBay would "automatically" close the case unless you neglected to return to the case after 3 days to request that eBay step in.
Are you familiar with eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers?
And, regardless of that, you can usually do a chargeback with your credit card.

·7 months agoFor trading cards, you have 3 days to file for a return.
Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
