I don't understand how this works.
My rating went from .10 to .25 a few days ago.
I only have 3 there: I had to clink on 18 months to see all 3.
First one buyer opened and closed claim...buyer mistake and no refund...April 9th, 2026
Second one refunded because stamp was damaged..INAD....Nov. 4th, 2025
Third one was a remorse return but nothing returned...I gave a refund to close claim to be safe...May 4th, 2025
eBay did not intervene for these 3...
Just because a claim is opened do I get penalized?

·4 months agoIt is a 12 month rolling average. Every month, the oldest month rotates out, and a new one rotates in to be counted.
Keep in mind that return rate is not a metric that counts against you. Only unresolved cases. My return rate typically hovers around 0.7 to 1 percent and that's perfectly normal.

OP4 months agoSo why do I have a .24 rate %?
These are not unresolved cases or a return...oldest one more than a year old.

Doesn't matter if the case was solved by accepting the return or unsolved as in forced return. You will still get a return on record which it's just for record. Stays on percentage record for 12 months. Stays on closed case record for 18 months.
