Seller did not send enough money for return
The seller sent me $20 for the return shipping via paypal. It has to be shipped international and the quote I got from the shipping company was $200+.
The seller suggested using priority shipping from USPS but that is not possible because the item is a watch and USPS will not ship it because of the battery.
What should I do?

·2 years agoWhat shipping company on the Planet would quote you $200 to ship a tiny item like a watch?
Did that include some high dollar insurance?

·2 years agoThat's probably not correct, otherwise everyone with a laptop, earbops, or a phone would have to get off of the plane before it can leave with no passengers or crew on board.
Stop talking to the seller, @baimcke58. Instead leave a PRIVATE message here and tell eBay that you need a prepaid return shipping label. eBay will put your case on hold for 5 days for the seller to send cash for that return shipping, or just refund outright no return needed. At the end, if the seller does neither, eBay will refund you, no return needed.

·2 years agoUnless it's a smart watch it would not have an prohibited battery in it. You need to contact eBay. You will have to work your way through to get a rep to call you back.

There uses to be a simple link but now you have to jump through some hoops.

·2 years agoTo what country do you have to return it? Even with USPS you're looking at more than $20. Let us know where you have to ship it and we can help with shipping options.
Also: what kind of battery? Is it a smart watch with a lithium ion battery?

·2 years agoWhile it’s true that some batteries cannot be shipped by air, I never heard of watch with a battery installed being forbidden to be shipped through Priority.
