Seller can't supply purchased item
I purchased a blue accessory piece from a seller. I received an email indicating it was shipped. Several hours later, I received an email that said they have 2 of the blue accessories but that they are damaged, so they don't want to send them. They asked me to say that I changed my mind. This doesn't seem right. What do I do?

·1 week agoDo not cancel the purchase. In fact, don't even reply to that. Make them cancel the sale. If they lie and it says you requested it, you should report the seller. Just sit tight and don't reply. Let them squirm a little.

·2 weeks ago · Edited@leannmpr Do NOT ask to cancel or change your mind. They are trying to trick you and they want to blame you for being out of stock. You've not done anything wrong.
Here is what you need to write back,
Dear seller, I look forward to receviing my item as described. You do not have my permission to cancel the order. If you do not plan to send it, you must select the Out of Stock reason. Thanks.
If they cancel and blame your address or state that you asked to cancel, you need to report the seller and make a note in the report about the message and what you said back. It is against eBay policies for sellers to lie about a cancellation reason. Also, should they lie and blame you, you should not feel gulity about leaving them a big fat red donut as feedback. These lying sellers deserve it.
