Seller approved refund but hasn’t sent postage label, or replied to messages
Context: item wasn’t as pictured, missing original power supply that was plugged in in the picture. Equivalent supply would cost a bit more than I paid for the item itself.
Just a bit confused as to what I’m supposed to do now, does the lack of response mean the seller doesn’t care if the the item is returned? Should I contact eBay or send the seller another message?
Surely I can’t just not return it lol? Although that would be my personal preference of a resolution - would lessen the hassle. Don’t want any further issues though!

·3 years agoSince you said the seller approved a refund, I will assume you already received the refund. If so, the seller does not want the item back since they would have provided a return shipping label before refunding you. If you meant the seller approved a return than they have a few days ( I believe) to issue a return label. If they do not, you can ask eBay to step in.

OP3 years agoAh this makes sense, thank you! Sorry if the question sounded daft, i just don’t think I’ve ever returned an item on eBay before, and the interface didn’t really explain how the process worked, so I was just a bit worried I was missing some further obligation on my end.
edit: Also when I looked at the refunded item the interface says “see return details†which made it sound like I needed to see the details in order to continue to return the item…but then there weren’t any details. Feels like a bit of a confusing design issue

^^^ Neither. Find the item in your Purchase History and tick the big, blue 'Return this item' button. Tick that the item was 'Not as Described', Confirm and Submit. The seller will have the option of sending you a return shipping label (you'll return it for a refund) or the option to refund you now (without a return), and it's all automated. Good luck.
