Seller accepted return but refuses to provide a U.S. return address – where should I ship the item?
Hello everyone,
I’m seeking advice regarding a return issue with an eBay US seller.
I purchased an item on eBay (US) and shipped it to South Korea using a forwarding service. After receiving the item, it was officially authenticated by a Korean authentication platform and determined to be counterfeit.
I contacted the seller and provided the authentication result. The seller stated that they accept the return and refund.
However, they are asking me to ship the item back to the “eBay US center†but refuse to provide any specific return address.
My questions are:
Is there an official “eBay US return center†address that buyers can ship items to?
If a seller accepts a return, aren’t they required to provide a valid return address?
Where am I supposed to send the item if no address is provided?
The seller mentioned using FedEx, but again, without giving an address.
I’m confused because I’m willing to return the item, but I cannot ship anything without a clear destination.
If anyone has experienced a similar situation or knows how this should be handled under eBay policy, I would really appreciate your advice.
Thank you in advance.
