Scammed on an Apple I-pad
Summary: darren3213 shared their experience of buying an iPad that never functioned properly and described attempts made by a seller to avoid honoring a return or warranty claim. They felt scammed after spending considerable time trying to resolve the issue. kensgiftshop suggested initiating a chargeback through the payment method used. darren3213 asked if this action might affect their account on the platform used for purchase, and kensgiftshop confirmed it would not.
I bought an apple I-pad from on here for $176. From the day I bought it, it never worked right. Without going on and on and on, because I could, They told me to try several things. I tried them, and it worked long enough sort of to get out of the 30 day window so I could return it. Then not to worry, it is covered by All-state insurance! They wore me out and put me in loop after loop, until I have now given up. I feel totally scammed. Though I didn't pay that much for it, I now have spent probably 20 hours total trying to jump through hoops to get this handled, and all i have to show for it is a plastic and glass component paper weight. It's still not technically out of warranty, but I am worn out by the rig a moroll they put me through. Is there any ideas of ways I can get resolution to this situation?
