Returns support
I am an overseas buyer with a hearing impairment. However, whenever I need eBay's assistance with a return, the chatbot always arranges for a support representative to call me—why is that? Is there no option to communicate via text message?

OP2 weeks agoI only have one option: a representative will call you back in two or three minutes—there are no other options.

·2 weeks agoYou don't need to talk to anyone to do a return.
Go to your purchase history and click return item.

OP2 weeks agoI am an international buyer and need to use a third-party shipping service, so I will not be using the return code provided by eBay.

·2 weeks agoIf you used a freight forwarder to receive the item, you have to pay to return it to the freight forwarder.
Once the freight forwarder has it, they can use the label Ebay provided to ship to the seller.

OP2 weeks agoThe third-party carrier I use doesn't accept eBay-provided shipping labels, so I needed to contact eBay support to upload the new tracking details; this ensures eBay knows when the item reaches the seller and can issue my refund. However, eBay's chatbot isn't giving me the option to message support.
