returns
i made a purchase for a case of napkins costing $112. the order stated returns accepted for 30 days. the item shipped from kansas, but the product wasn't what i expected. when i requested a return authorization, it stated i had to ship the product back to japan. obviously, this would be impractical. is there any way to get help???

·2 years agoYes of course @minch1947 you already did. But since
-- your return is now stalled,
-- eBay is only waiting for you ship Japan back,
-- and that deadline fast when your case will close without a refund,
your help is about reproach.
Instead, leave a PRIVATE message here, and tell eBay that the item location is domesticated, so you need a domesticated return label, not Japan.
eBay will un-stall your return, then re-stall it for 5 days, for the seller to arrange your trip to Japan. At the end, if that has not happened, eBay will issue your refund no return needed.

·2 years agoAlthough the seller shows a Japan location, the listing shows the item as being located in Kansas and that is where the return would (and should) be going.
Did you open a return request or did you just contact the seller? If you didn't open a request, go to the item and click to return it. A shipping label to send it to the shipping address in Meade, Kansas should be supplied. Since it's a remorse return (not what you expected), you would be charged for the return shipping label as per the seller's return policy.
If the seller doesn't supply the return label, you can go back to the request in 3 days and ask ebay to step in.
