So I'm new to selling on ebay.
I had an item returned to me due to lack of description.
And it says to issue a refund.
But how do i issue a refund if I never received a payment? What do i do?

·10 months agoYes, as sellers we have to put up the return funds, not eBay. After the hold on the funds, eBay will then release that money to you

·10 months agoIssue it from your working capital. The money you have set aside in case you need it for such expenses......

·10 months agoGo back to the return case which was filed against you and click refund buyer. The case will then close.

OP10 months agoIt was a purse that was sent for Authentication and is real but didn't pass due to description. The buy did pay but Ebay had it on hold. I received my item back but now they want me to issue a refund when I didn't receive any money. I don't know what to do? The refund amount is @ $460.

·10 months agoAgain, the refund will come from your payment source, cc,bank account, etc. When the payment you received is clear, you will get that back.

·10 months agoThe refund comes from your payment source (CC, bank account). When the payment clears or hold is released you get the money back then

·10 months agoDid the buyer open a case? If so, go to the case and issue the refund. It will not come from your pending funds, but from your payment source, cc,bank account, etc.When your funds do clear, you will receive the payment back.
