Returned item not received
I recently sold a purse which the buyer was unhappy with. I agreed to accept the return and the total amount was refunded to the buyer. The shipping label eBay provided her didn’t have my correct address. I cannot figure out what to do. Any help greatly appreciated.

Let's get some of the chronology straight here. Did you refund the Buyer before they shipped the item or after the claim indicated that the item had been shipped back? You should NEVER refund until you have the item back in your possession.
Sellers have 5 addresses to set up, if you have an old one you need to ADD the new one and then DELETE the old one. eBay's Edit function does not change the address deep enough in their program to register much beyond the displayed address ... for some strange reason. Addresses Settings
As to the returned item being sent to the wrong address: Unless you know the folks there or can go to the old address and explain what is going on to the new owners / tenants you are out of luck. The package could wind up being Refused and returned to the Buyer, discarded or kept.

And who lives at that address?...can you notify them?

OP11 months agoIt has been shipped. It was an address I lived at like 20 years ago. I checked my profile and the address is correct (where I currently live). No idea who lives there. How did this even happen?

Read my post up thread that explains how this can happen, last paragraph

·11 months agoIt is possible current residents will refuse package and it will be returned to you.
You be surprised how many nice honest people are out there.
Check tracking to see what happens of course.
If this is a first return...we generally only see that 'return address' when we do a return for the first time...and your first address signing up will still be used.
I had the same experience.
My address with my 'name' is different from when I first signed up....just my 'name'...not the address itself.
So items I purchase in eBay has my old name still being used for returns.
