Return shipping label, bought from eBay buyer says it was wrong Label
Buyer purchased product from us. Says it was received damaged, it's our protocol to check the serial number before offering a refund. We purchased the return shipping label from eBay. Now the buyer is saying, the shipping Label isn't sufficient, the item weighs too much. Where do I go from here? purchase another shipping label from somewhere else, contact eBay? (I've tried with no success) The return shipping label was $115, $20 more than what it cost to ship out.

Was the return label provided USPS or FedEx?

Return shipping labels don't have the weight. They are calculated and charged the same amount as the original label.
I don't know whether the buyer is trying to scam or not but just tell the buyer to return it with the label provided and if there's a problem, you'll handle it on your end.

·1 year agoWouldn't the item still be sent to you as 'postage due'?..'buyer is saying, the shipping label isn't sufficient'.
I am returning my first return ever, where item is much bigger than what I ordered and heavier.
I also have a return label which I hope to use which I would obtain from the post office.
I am just going to have the post office print the label and send it back.
My thought doesn't it still get sent with an eBay shipping label returned back to you? Postage Due?
Others here can address this for I find it interesting.
