Return policy removal
I just noticed that eBay has eliminated the detailed return policy description field from spring of 2018. I don't sell very often on ebay so I wasn't aware but I disagree with that because we all know that not every buyer will click on the link to view more details about eBay's return policy and problems will occur with that. Am I allowed to state return policy details in my descriptions to be more specific as long as it consists with eBay's policies?

·2 years agoYou can put whatever you want in your descriptions, but it's not enforceable, like your TOS and Payments.

·2 years agoI just clicked on one of your listings. Are you aware when your policy is returns accepted the buyer can return the item for any reason? This includes because they no longer want it or they found it cheaper or they need the money back. Is that what you will be saying?
PayPal is not the only method of payment eBay accepts. In your TOS under payments you only mention PayPal but a buyer can pay will all the the other accepted methods without using PayPal. Also eBay no longer requires confirmed addresses. Those two statements are misleading and probably costing you sales if the buyer wants to pay with a gift card, spendable funds, ApplePay, etc.
