return of shoes that are the wrong size compared to listed
I purchased shoes on ebay and they went to the authenticator. The shoes were listed as US size 15. We got them, they are a US size 16. Then asked to return them and they went back through the authentication again. I had them in my possession opened for less than 15 minutes when I realized they were too large and listed wrong. ebay says now they are not in the same condition as when they had them through authentication. I do not know what this means. They were listed as a 15, they are a 16. We have the badge on them, same box, same everything. I even sent them the USPS return information, Fed ex drop off time, etc. I am not sure why they would say they aren't in the same condition. What would I have done in 15 minutes with shoes that say size 16 when they are supposed to be a 15. I tried contacting the seller and the message was returned to me and said try again later.

·3 years agoI agree with @simba6. The authentication system is fraught with all kinds of issues. I sure empathize...

That authentication has been swinging back and forth. They went from only making sure it was name brand to finding fault with every thing. Why they missed the incorrect size. They are a loose cannon, you don't know what will happen with them.

OP3 years agoThank you. I am very disappointed as we have been active on eBay since 1999. I did not think this would ever be an issue, since it is a very evident issue with the wrong size. I will contact my credit card and go from there. I do appreciate the input and it's too bad things like this occur.

·3 years agoThe authentication process is a double edged sword. It might protect you from a fake item, but blocks returns for other issues. Good thing you paid by credit card.
