return items to seller who was dismissed from site because of policy
I ordered 3 refirgerator water filters from a seller. They do not install in my refrigerator. I bought the same filter at lowes and it installed fine. The seller has been removed from the ebay site because of ebay policy. I can't contact the seller and don't know where to send the filters too. Is there a number to call for an ebay agent to handle this problem?

·9 months agoOpen a return for INAD, you don't need to contact the seller at all. If the sellers is actually gone, then when they don't respond to eBay on the return claim, eBay will step in and refund you without having to return anything

This is the kind of case you can open with eBay if it turns out that your purchase is not as described.
Go to your My eBay> Purchase History and find this transaction. Click on "want to return", then click on "Not As described".
Your seller has three days to respond. No response? On day #4, return to the case and ask eBay to step in.
You'll be refunded from the seller's funds and won't be required to return the item. You have 30 days after the delivery date to do this with eBay.
You also need to read eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers.

·9 months agoOff Topic, FWIW, I buy all my EveryDrop water filters on eBay for the best deals on the internet. I try to discern which ones have not been opened or ask that to the seller for confirmation.
Last purchase was a lot of 4 of them for ~$70 shipped.
