Return After eBay Dispute Settled??

So I bought a pair of shoes on eBay. The shoes showed up and one of which was clearly discolored. Seller labeled them new. Not new/other. New. So I filed for a return. eBay responded to me initially with a denial, as the seller "doesn't accept returns" on items. I then appealed the case, and won. Due to the fact one is discolored, they gave me a refund, as they clearly weren't new, and false advertised. So my question is this. Do I have to return the shoes now? I tried asking ebay, and have gotten nowhere. Just don't know if I'm suppose to send the shoes back? Or do I keep them? Confused. Thanks for any clarification anyone can offer.

It sounds like you didn't open the correct type of return case because had you correctly opened NAD (not as described), the seller wouldn't have been able to deny the request.

But now that you have your refund, the shoes are yours to do as you please.

When you appeal and win, eBay pays your refund because eBay made the error initially.

The seller isn't notified when you appeal, your refund didn't come from the seller, so the shoes shouldn't go back to the seller. If anything eBay owns the shoes now, since eBay paid for the shoes.
