I received a purchase that was supposed to be direct fit on my truck. After receiving it I would have to make major altercations that are not safe to do in order to use the item. I requested a refund and the seller isn't cooperating and not giving me information I need for return and refund.

·11 months agoAs others have suggested, all purchases you make when logged into your ebay account are listed upon that account. You get email notifications from ebay for the purchase - check those for the account info. You mention that the timeframe was very recent on the purchase. The purchase will definitely appear in the purchase history. If you purchased as a guest, that is a separate procedure requiring customer service assistance.
Returns are 100% not dependent on the seller on ebay to begin. However, you DO need to sort out the above to begin. Definately try different browsers & also clear out your browsing history, cookies etc. That can prohibit some sites from functioning properly - as can old site certificates. You may have to have a customer service agent begin the process for you if you continue having errors. However, you have to locate how you first purchased to begin.

Did you recieve a confirmation email when you purchased it?

OP11 months agoI have the item and order number. eBay sent me the link using my email. However when I try to open a return it goes to an error screen. And the seller still will not return my messages or send me return info

If you ordered on one account but are signed into another account when you click on the link you will get an error.
I'm only asking because I have a selling account and buying account and I have been signed into my selling account and trying to click on order confirmation for an order I made and get an error because I'm not signed into right account.

OP11 months agoReceived last Tuesday. I've been trying to return ever since. Ordered the Friday before.

·11 months agoYou said it is not showing up in your history, is anything showing in your purchase history?
Did you go to the email you received from eBay when you ordered it?
You should be able to click on "view order details" in the email and then near the bottom of that window click on "more actions" and then start a return using the reason "item didn't match description" They will have 3 days to send you a return shipping label and if they do not, go back to the return and escalate it to eBay on the 4th day.

·11 months agoWow, that is crazy. I would suggest you try a different browser first, then if you still have the same result, I would suggest going to the eBay facebook page and sending them a message.

·11 months agoMaybe because I don't know much about trucks, but have to ask, if it doesn't work for your truck, but it was advertised otherwise, why not just open an item not as described case with eBay?

Can you return here and tell us the exact steps you used when you opened the case? If it's not in your Purchase History, how did you open a case?

If so, what reason did you use?
Does the item show 'it takes returns' or 'no returns'?

OP11 months agoIt is stock. I can't start official return because it's not showing up in my history. I told the seller it is not direct fit if I have to alter my vehicle leaving it unsafe. Seller's information says free shipping and free hassle free returns. He has responded but will not give me return procedure.
