Refunding original shipping label
A buyer wants a full refund on an item. He claimed several things about my listing after it was shipped, such as two were missing. One was missing but the buyer was informed of this when I gave the offer. Claimed that they smelled of cigarettes, despite cigarettes never entering the area they were kept. Buyer did not ask to see condition of each. Quite frankly, I don't even think that a return ended up being warranted. The shipping cost of this item was separate from the items themselves and was shipped through USPS. I have no problem refunding him, but I don't see why I'd need to refund the shipping cost that was needed to send it. It was already shipped and delivered, so that money is with the USPS. Please help me figure out what to do from here.

'Why' you'd need to refund the original s&h is because the buyer used a Not as Described Return reason, if they did.

·2 years agoIf the buyer had opened a case against you, you would have been responsible to provide the return shipping label. If two were missing from the pkg, and the others covered in pet hair,and the buyer only knew about one missing,that is a snad, and you owe him for return shipping.Why should the buyer have had to ask you about the condition of each item?
