Received a Return I never shipped
I Received a return package, it is the correct address but its not the correct person. No one by that name has lived here in over a year. I have order and tracking numbers but I don't know how to contact anyone on the label. If this was a normal piece of mail I would just write "not at this address" on it and drop it in the closest mailbox.

Find a fire of your own to put out.

^^^ I wonder if the previous occupant is a seller who hasn't changed their 'Return to' Address. RTS the package.

·2 years agoIf it was the postal service that delivered it, you can give it to your post man or put a message on it saying what happened and leave it in your mail box. If it was a shipper like fedex or UPS, you can call them and they will come and get it.

·2 years agoNo reason not to do the same thing. In a mail drop[ box. To the carrier, or to a PO. It will go back where it came from. As it was not address to you, I trust that you did not open it.
