Product Refund
let X, Y and Z be the names of the Pokemon cards in this investigation
Bought Pokemon “X†graded as psa 10 for around $350 USD, product came 40-50 days later due to Canadian post strike, arrived as a fabricated Psa 7 Pokemon “Y†broken slab card. The psa slab essentially got snapped open and took the original psa 7 graded “Y†card and swapped with another completely different card, “Z†card, however, “Z†wasn’t graded and was different from the psa 7 label (which implies it’s probably just a filler card for the weight which has zero value). It was then glued together to make it look somewhat real.
I requested a refund, and eBay sent me the postage address since I’m from HK and we don’t have shipping labels I think... The deadline for shipping is Jan 22nd. However, I’m not sure will my purchase be eligible for a refund.
assuming no tampering from Canadian Post:
- card wasn’t described as listing
- card was damaged upon arrival
- card was fabricated/fake
- card delivery was delayed extensively
before I send the card back to the seller for a refund (he accepted it), he said there was a Canadian post representative discussing this matter and also gave eBay a heads up (I don’t know how but they said they did) but haven’t talked to me ever since.
I hope to receive a full refund, if possible, please let me know what my next steps should be, before sending the card back to the seller and if I should escalate to PayPal.

·1 year agoLet the eBay case run. Do not open any other case as it will end the eBay one. If you lose the eBay case, then you would try with paypal and last file with your credit card company if you paid by card.
Wonder if customs opened those to inspect? In any event your likely to with the eBay case.

·1 year agoIf you filed an INAD, the seller will have to pay for the return shipping.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
