Please help me get my property back AND repaired as advertised!
On Ebay, starting September 10, 2025 its been more than 7 months that the repair service seller and I have been working on the repair.. within the 7 months I have had to send it back multiple times.. this last time, Feb. 13 about 2 months ago, they confirmed they had it and would update me on the repair and now will not respond in any way
I try and try and try to get in touch with them, to the point of forcing me to get Ebay involved... And so I TRIED to reach out to Ebay Customer Service to get them involved BUT only to get caught up in a never ending loop of options that never gets me help, service or action.....
Please help me get my property back AND repaired as advertised!

·4 months agoYou do understand - ebays rules govern original transaction only. The fact you are shipping an item back & forth is independent of your original transaction on ebay. You had 30 days from original delivery to return for a refund. Anything else is private activity between two private parties only. Any purchased or "assumed" warranty is also not an ebay concern. It is also private activity between two private parties only.

OP4 months agoThank you for the response! I am not interested in getting Ebay's "Money Back Guarantee"... I am wanting/needing my property back... the seller has been great working with me and I don't understand why they told me to send it back to them, and this time stopped any dialog and still have the device... And yes, I would LIKE to get it back working as advertised, but I guess its BUYER BEWARE... I'm just wanting eBay to step in and get it back. After all, they are conducting business through eBay. And I would hope eBay wants to stamp out any reason and instances that give off the stench of BUYER BEWARE... THEY WILL KEEP YOUR PROPERTY AND NOT RESPOND .
Thank you.

·4 months agoeBay has no way to get your property. They do not have enforcers or police officers who can go enforce anything like that. You have been given options to consider in other comments, but getting eBay to do anything is not an option. No one can change that.

·4 months agoTBH, I'm shocked and impressed that the seller has allowed you to send it back and forth multiple times over a 7 month period! Kudos to the seller for that because they went above and beyond.
What was the date you received the item in the first place? I assume it was prior to Sept. 10.

·4 months agoThere is no "repair" provision under Ebay's policies and guarantees.
Ebay's "Money Back Guarantee" merely provides that if you are not satisfied you can open a Return for a refund within 30 days of receipt of the item and then be issued a refund pending on the seller's wish to have the item returned (or not).
That is all ebay will get involved in, the fact that you even got this seller to agree to repair and then apparently the same seller even did repair your item more than once, that is baffling to me because most sellers would never agree to such a thing however both you and the seller are completely outside of any agreements you reached on or through ebay.com - Let me repeat that: Whatever agreement you and the seller have in regards to repairing your item falls completely outside of any ebay buyer or seller protection schemes.
In conclusion it is unlikely the seller will send you back your item, much less repair it again.

You’re no longer conducting business through eBay at this point. The transaction was long ago, and eBay does not provide any assistance if additional discussion and services extend past their Money Back Guarantee. eBay cannot and will not help you get anything back.

·4 months agoSorry, but there's nothing for Ebay to do.
Once your MBG expires, Ebay is out.
How far is the seller from you?

OP4 months agoThank you for the reply and the help!
Why do you say there's nothing ebay will do? They conduct business through ebay and to my knowledge by what I've read, held accountable by rules/regulations.... Ebay states to let them know about such things so they can get involved and take care of it.......
The problem here is I cannot get through to Ebay support, its a never ending circle jerk of click heres that eventually takes me right back to nowhere

·4 months agoThat is right where you will end up if you do get into contact with eBay. Your eBay Money Back Guarantee was good for 30 days. End of Story.

·4 months agohas eBay been involved in all these shipments back and forth with tracking? Or have these later repair shipments been on their own just between you and the service people?
krameruser
OP4 months agothe only way eBay has been "involved" is that we have solely used the messaging as contact method
stainlessenginecovers
·4 months agoThat doesn't mean ebay has been involved in anything. The messaging system is just that, between you and the seller.
Ebay is OUT after 30 days. No help will be coming.
It's up to you. Sue the guy, drive/fly there and visit- or just let it go.
There will be NO superman with a Big 'E' on their cape coming to help you.
