PayPal Buyer Protection for counterfeit items
Recently I have ordered headphones and received counterfeit product. I am thinking about opening case with PayPal. I came across this while surfing on PayPal's website - "If a seller loses a Significantly Not as Described claim due to the item sold being counterfeit, the seller will be required to provide a full refund to the buyer and you will not receive the item back" . Does it mean that if I will be able to prove that I have received counterfeit item with photo/video there will be no need to send it back to the seller? Did I get it right? I also read that some countries is not allowing to ship counterfeit items. Please, help!

·9 months agoIf you used E-bay too make the purchase they have a policy that the item does not need to be returned as it is counterfeit. PayPal uses an algorithm in mist cases so be careful when making a claim as the scammers know how to manipulate the paypal Algorithm. I contacted customs in Australia and I received the refund from E-Bay immediately as they have a zero tolerance policy for fake of copywriting breaches
